In the event you re vaccinated or have allowed your vaccination passport to expire, we will not be able to offer any further shifts until this is brought up to date. Please remember, it is your responsibility to ensure the company is made aware of any changes in your personal status.

Due to client expectation, First Contact will no longer employ anyone who is not vaccinated. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me immediately on 021509689 or by e-mail darryl@firstcontact.co.nz to discuss this.

The COVID-19 pandemic has proven to be a testing time for everyone. No-one fully understood exactly what this virus was, what would happen, and the lock-down impacted on everyone regardless of you keeping your job or not. Unfortunately, how this event was reported in the media did not help calm the situation with speculation and images of doom and gloom every time you looked at a media source. New Zealand government’s took aggressive and effective steps to combat this outbreak, the short term pain has resulted in us now enjoy a safe environment, almost total freedom, and very little on-going impact from the virus.

This is where complacency will seep in and it will be or undoing.

If you are not feeling well, it is better to be cautious and seek medical advise than run the risk of attending work and exposing your colleagues and members of the public if you are infectious. Remember, this virus is not a result of poor life decisions, it is indiscriminate and really easy to spread, so please respect the guidelines and understand that these will change as we learn more about the virus and how to combat it. We will endeavor to keep this site updated with the latest information.

If you are unwell and need time off, please give us as much notice as possible so we can move to cover you so you can recuperate and we can ensure our clients requirements are meet by fully staffed teams.
